INTRICATELY DETAILED 1/32ND SCALE

U.S. Air Force Vietnam Combat

 Jet Pilot

This finely sculpted seated pilot figure has been created with a body stature of 5'-2" in scale, making him a perfect fit for Tamiya's beautiful F-4C/D Phantom kits but still appropriate for any model U.S. Air Force combat jet aircraft of the mid to late Vietnam War. While this kit features a portrait head of Colonel Robin Olds as he appeared as commander of Operation Bolo in 1967, alternate heads make this figure appropriate for other aircraft as well. All the heads from our line of jet pilots and aviators are completely interchangeable so the combinations are numerous.

This highly detailed and historically accurate 13 piece assembly kit is cast in quality polyurethane resin, easily assembled with cyanoacrylate (super glue) type adhesive. This kit includes four alternate head configurations with visor up and mask to the side, visor up and mask in place, visor down and mask to the side and visor down and mask in place. Also included are separate legs for ease of positioning, and four alternate arms for a variety of unique poses.

Finely sculpted details include flight suit complete down to the ink pens in the sleeve pocket and zipper pulls, G-suit with connector hose, laced flight boots and standard issue black leather gloves, survival vest with add-on pouches, accurate parachute harness precise down to the Kotch fittings, K-Bar survival knife and sheath and, to top everything off, a gem-like helmet and separate oxygen mask and hose. Requiring minimum parts preparation, this precisely fitting and easily assembled seated pilot will add life and scale to your next model aircraft from the Vietnam War.
