Designed for 1/32 scale F2A-2 Buffalo, Boeing F4B-4. F3f-3 Gulfhawk, Curtiss Sparrowhawk, F4F-2/3 Wildcat, Curtiss BF2C-1, SBD 1/2 Dauntless and other pre-World War Two era model airplanes, this seated pilot figure allows you to add life, scale, and interest to those big open cockpits!
This highly detailed and historically accurate 14 piece assembly kit is cast in quality polyurethane resin, easily assembled with cyanoacrylate (super glue) type adhesive. This kit includes six alternate head configurations with plain helmet and goggles in either up or down position, helmet with earphones and goggles in either up or down position, and helmet with head phones and goggles in either up or down position. Also included are separate legs for ease of positioning, four alternate arms and a separate hand held microphone to mount to your model's radio receiver.
Finely sculpted details include overall-type 37S3 "Potato Sack" flying suite, Bedford Cord cloth helmet, Wilson Mark I goggles, USN Mark 2 life preserver, fixed seat pack parachute and other authentic flight gear. All goggle frames are sculpted without glass so you can easily and realistically simulate this detail with epoxy as explained in the instructions.
